Inspired by the original Santa Fe Hi-Level cars, the prototypes were introduced in 1975, with a newer variation known as the Superliner II, unveiled in 1991. Still in long-distanc service on a variety of Amtrak(R) trains, each WalthersProto replica comes fully assembled and features:
