Ford Transit Connect RAC 

The Ford Transit Connect is a  modern addition to Oxford’s fleet of small commercials which have spanned the decades, reflecting the multiple purposes of the indispensible small van. The Ford Motor Company designed the Connect with a large cargo capacity, as well as incorporating improved aerodynamics for maximum fuel efficiency and high-tech lights for greater visibility.  Component parts were also designed for easy service and replacement.

No wonder the Connect appealed to the RAC, whose equally modern livery we feature on this latest 1:76 scale edition. Decorated in the RAC signature orange and white colour scheme, the rear of our Connect carries the diagonal red and white highly visible paintwork, alerting motorists to its presence.  The white lettering on the sides and across the back promotes the RAC in-car services role.   External trim is black, as is the interior.  Our model, registered YR06 FMG, dates from 2006 when it was no doubt fulfilling its essential assistance to the nation’s motorists.
