The North East mainline in Victoria conjures up memories of the mighty `S Class Pacifics hailing `The Spirit of Progress éxpress on the broad gauge between Albury and Melbourne.

There were many branchlines in the region which are now mostly forgotten.

In this DVD we go back to the 1960s and regular  trains operating on the following lines:
- Tallangatta to Cudgewa.
- Springhurst to Wahgunyah.
- Mansfield to Tallarook.
