Branch Line Steam, Victorian Railways in the 1950s

This DVD features films shot by the late Keith Atkinson in the 1950s.

Although dieselisation was well advance by the late 1950s, some lines remained virtually unaffected.

Keith filmed on some of these lines, in some cases,  just before closure.

The lines featured are:

Warragul to Nayook

Moe to Thorpdale

Birregurra to Forrest

Waubra Junction to Waubra

Castlemaine to Shelbourne via Maldon
